The owners of Holme House Barn approached us to design and develop a brand new website for their new business.
The website needed to be editable by the business owners, including adding video, new pages, blog posts and managing bookings online.
The main aim of the website was to provide the customer with a full blown online marketing tool for their business which was simple to update, easy to find within the search engines and worked across multiple platforms including tablet devices.
We firstly created a bespoke design that we presented to Holme House Barn, once the owners were completely happy with the look and feel we then began the process of planning out the structure of the website.
With the website needing to be editable by the business owners, we decided that the WordPress platform was by far the best option available. We heavily customised the administration area to ensure ease of use and built a custom WordPress template structure.
The website features a simple online booking system that the website owners can maintain simply as well as a fully integrated blog and image gallery.

As mentioned in the “what we did” tab, we also re-developed the size guide from flash to Java to make sure that it worked on all devices and to also fix minor mistakes with some of the data.
