Project Specification : Clear Web Services were originally approached by Annie Lapington after a chance meeting when we were buying some ham and cheese from the Co-Op!
Annie had been looking for companies in the local area to quote for a new website the Council needed to offer them the ability to update, change and control their website.
They initially needed a brand new design, which was fresh, welcoming and served the needs of the local people in the area. It was important they not only felt the website looked good, but that they could also update it when ever they needed to and control all of the content.
Project Results : Within a few weeks of receiving the sign off from Annie, we had produced the initial design and had the full site at beta stage.
We managed to turn the site around within three weeks and had the team at the Council fully trained in updating and controlling their website.
We have also completed Social Media for them, setting up Twitter and Facebook and producing RSS feeds for people to keep up to date with local news.
We were also pleased to offer all of the councillors their very own council email address for the first time!
