Project Specification : After working with Acorn Office Accessories on many other products, Andrew Bartle asked us to design, build and work on the SEO for a brand new green office products website, which would only sell eco friendly green office products throughout the UK.
We managed to get the design pretty much spot on with in a few days and we then went on to build a very sophisticated shopping cart and back end management system, which automatically sent feeds to the leading product listing portals, like Google Products and Shop Mania.
The system we have designed and built offers the client complete control over their products, offering a much easier product management system than they had previously been used to.
We are now beginning the SEO campaign to really move things forward with the site.
Project Results : Although still in very early days, the website has already been indexed and delivering traffic, via the main natural route and also via the Google Products system, where we set up the XML feed directly into the Google Products system. We managed to get the site indexed quite quickly and it was ranking for search terms within days of it going live. We hope to have a full report in a few months time as to how the whole site is performing.
