Wilson Douglas have worked with Clear Web Services for many years and this was the second major web design project that we were asked to complete for them.
We met both Jonny and Mark in London back in early 2011 and after a solid meeting we were able to come up with a plan of action.
They wanted their existing Wilson Douglas site to be more dynamic, based on a CMS system so that they could edit things and above all showcase their excellent investment opportunities.
One of the main aims of the new website was to create more enquiries from the current traffic.
The first few weeks was spent coming up with a new design for Wilson Douglas, a design which would not only appeal to them but also to all of their customers.
We came up with an outer design for the main page and then inner designs for the subsequent pages, which meant that the client would have a sound idea about where we were coming from in terms of design.
Once the design was approved, we then started developing the new look onto a CMS which also incorporated a news blog for the client to promote their latest news and events.
The new features within the site included:
- Featured blog posts
- Sliding contact forms that allow users to dynamically select brochure requests, contact forms etc..
- Customised image slider that would allow the website owners to add new images to the homepage dynamically
- Contact form logs that allow the website owners to see which forms are working best and extract the full data
- Full blog area to keep the site fresh and inform regular users of updates
- Bespoke templates for simple adding of new pages
Because the site was already indexed and doing well, we completed the change over in the early hours of a Sunday morning to avoid distruption for the client.
From the outset, the guys at Clear Web Services established clear lines of communication and were very thorough in their interpretation of our brief.
In a competitive market place, we needed our new site to have a more sophisticated, fresh edge whilst still retaining some of the gravitas befitting of an investment market.
Clear Web Services not only achieved this, but exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend their services.
